We are happy to announce that the Wabanaki Two-Spirit Alliance will be hosting the 36th International Two-Spirit Gathering: Two-Spirit People of the Dawn Mawio'mi! This gathering will run from Sunday, July 23rd until Thursday, July 27th! This Gathering will be an in-person event and is being held at Oak Island Resort and Conference Centre (Click Here to see more information about their resort!) located in Nova Scotia. Lodgings and food will be provided at this gathering.
There are a limited number of 10 travel scholarships available for $500& dollars each for those with unique circumstances. If you would like to apply for a travel scholarship, please fill out this form! We are aiming to also aid in some travel assistance from major points, such as Halifax, Fredericton, Sydney, etc through the use of carpooling/car sharing, so please indicate on the registration form how you intend to travel.
We are also looking for volunteers who may participate as vendors, speakers, panelists, performers and organizations to join us! If you are interested, please fill out this form!
